Working with my clients it is not all about training with them, sometimes we take it out of the gym and get creative, which is exactly what we did yesterday at Yo! Sushi in Aberdeen. Over two hours, our skilled chef Andy showed us how to fillet a salmon (pretty sure I won’t be able to recreate that moment at home…) and make numerous sushi dishes while talking us through the sushi making process. There was a lot of sushi eating involved and some of the group turned out some pretty impressive maki rolls. Turns out sushi making is not my forte and I realised what it must feel like for my clients sometimes when I show them a new move which they then have to do; as Andy demonstrated the rolling process, making it look so simple, but when it was my turn it suddenly turned into a complex and daunting procedure.

For £30 per two people (£25 for one), the workshop was a bargain and definitely something I want to do again with clients in the future. If you like sushi and fancy a fun afternoon out a good price then this might be for you.
